Using the calculators

Every tool on this site is free to use for personal and business work. You can run a calculation for a client, quote a job from it or share a link to any page.

Results are estimates

Calculator output is a planning estimate. Pool shapes vary, floors slope unevenly, chemical products lose strength on the shelf and local labor rates move build costs. Check a result against your own measurements and the label on the product in your hand before you act on it.

Chemical safety

Follow the safety directions on every chemical container. Never mix pool chemicals together, add product to water rather than water to product, and keep everything away from children. If a dose from the Pool Chemical and Chlorine Calculator looks far larger than the label suggests, stop and recheck your pool volume.

No professional advice

Nothing here replaces a licensed pool builder, electrician, or your local building department. Permits, fencing rules and equipment codes are set locally and change often.
